*Progressive Dinner* - October 16th @ 6:00pm

Sisters! The Relief Society will be having a Progressive Dinner on Tuesday, October 16th at 6:00pm. In addition to eating good food, this activity will also give us an opportunity to serve. Please bring something to donate to the missionaries for a missionary goodie basket, and also something to donate to the Women’s Crisis Shelter (baby things, women’s clothes, toiletries). Please meet at the church between 5:30pm and 5:45pm to carpool. RR sisters meet at Umpqua Bank to leave at 5:30pm. If you are unable to meet at the church to carpool and would like to come directly to the dinner, the order of houses for the dinner will be Sister Farmer’s, Sister Allen’s, and Sister Lathen’s, with about 45 minutes at each house. (All homes located in SW GP nearby Redwood Elementary.) Childcare will be available at the Griffith's home and you can drop off kids there starting at 5:30pm.  We hope to see you all there! :) 

*Food Preservation Class* - September 25th @ 6:30pm

Come join the sisters in Riverside Ward RS as we learn about different methods of food preservation. Sister Jarvie will be hosting the event at her home on September 25th at 6:30pm.  There will be demonstrations for both canning and dehydrating. Food-themed prizes will be raffled off for those in attendance. Due to limiting parking space, carpooling with other sisters would be helpful. Hope to see you there!

*Important Updates*

GP Stake Center Closure Notice
Due to scheduled carpet maintenance, the Stake Center will be closed from Monday, August 27th, through Thursday, August 30th.  No one can enter the building on these days and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

LDS Blood Drive
The Church is having a blood drive on August 30th from 2-7pm at the Stake Center.  Please come and donate if you can!  

Random Acts of Kindness Meeting Canceled
The meeting scheduled for this Tuesday, August 28th, is canceled.  The next scheduled meeting for the group is September 4th.

*Random Acts of Kindness - Meeting* - June 26th

Serve others by doing Random Acts of Kindness!  Relief Society sisters are invited to meet on Tuesday, June 26th at 7pm at the church to discuss and plan ways of serving others for the month of July.  This will be an ongoing meeting on the 4^th Tuesday of the month and the theme and type of service will change monthly.  The theme for July will be The Family.  We will be focusing on doing service with and for our families!  We will also be sharing our experiences of service for the previous month.  If you have questions or suggestions contact Tammy Hendricks.  

*The Card Makers!* - June 19th

Attention Relief Society Sisters!  We need your help!  Please join The Card Makers on Tuesday, June 19^th at 7pm to help make birthday cards for the Young Women and cards for visiting teaching.  We’ll be meeting at Alison Dietz’ house in Grants Pass.  Feel free to bring supplies if you would like but it’s not necessary.  We look forward to seeing you all there!
